Bangsar - Capri Cafe and pasar malam

Karma brought Mala and I to this place at Bangsar yesterday. I'm not familiar with Bangsar at all, and I really can't imagine there's such cafe -- where you could have chops or steaks in Bangsar for not burning a hole in your pocket... :p

We ordered Teh Tarik (RM1.50), Lemonade, Ice Lemon Green Tea, Hainanese Chicken Chop (RM12) and Grilled Chicken Chop with Cheese (RM13). The portion was kinda generous and we were so full after the dinner and we decided to do some exercise -- window shopping at Bangsar Village :p Karma told us that there's pasar malam nearby, so we decided to have a look. It's kinda a small or mini pasar malam, nothing much you could get there. Despite this, we still got ourselves something -- coconut jelly and brownies.

(Coconut Jelly RM4 for 1, and RM10 for 3)
I've never tried Coconut Jelly before, it tasted kinda fresh for me, however for the first bite or two, it was kinda nice... but, after few bites it tasted too sweet for me

(Brownies RM2.50, it's very "chocolate" :p)

Home Alone!

Mom and dad were away, and here's my dinner alone tonight!

Oatmeal Raisins Cookies

Mala came over again, yeah yeah yeah!!! According to Mala, these Oatmeal Raisins Cookies are suppose to be chewy, not crunchy. At the first bite, many said that it seems to be "Lao Fong" already (come on, I just baked it, ok?!), but as said before, it is supposed to be chewy one ma... hehe.... Well, I really love these cookies!

Tea time!

Mala came over to teach me making quiche yesterday. She is kind enough to bring me her homemade Lemon Blueberry Muffins. So, here's my tea time today, I made CHAM* -- coffee from Kluang Station and PG Tips from UK, ahaha... what a combination, to have it with the muffins. Yummy~ Yummy!

*When I took the pic, milk hadn't added in yet :p

Quiche!!!

I love quiche! The first one that I had was a frozen one, unfortunately. I tried online recipe to make one before, however it wasn't success. Today, lucky enough that a friend of mine know how to make one and she came over to my place, during her birthday, ahaha... to teach me!

Ta-Tah!!! Here's my quiche!!!
Well, I do prefer a thicker one, maybe next time I'll use a deeper pie mole :) Thank Mala for your time and Happy Birthday, may your dreams come true :) Cheers~
